Composer's Notes
My little Valentine was written in 1995 for Carol Wincenc, for whom I had composed my Flute Concerto two years earlier. It is also something of a valentine for the Byrds' Roger McGuinn, whose Kathleen's Song has been deconstructed for my own purposes in this work.
