This work is available from Boosey & Hawkes for the world.
Gyorgy Sandor, piano / Philadelphia Orchestra / Eugene Ormandy
This most lucid, technically easiest and most popular of Bartók's three piano concertos was written as a birthday gift for his wife, Ditta. Bartók lived to complete all but the orchestration of its last few bars, which was undertaken by Tibor Serly.
