The series of adaptations for wind quintet and double bass, in the Edition Berliner Bach Akademie, is continued with more works of the standard piano repertoire. One could say that Heribert Breuer reinvents the works in his creative adaptations, thus creating something strikingly different from mere arrangements which only divide the existing scores up for a new set of instruments.

The chamber version of Schubert’s Fantasy emphasises the dramatic and melancholy aspects of the original.
