The pragmatic title conceals a real challenge to the rhythmic and technical skills of the interpreters. Created in close cooperation with the Finnish accordionist Janne Rättyä (professor at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Graz), this work takes the instrument, which is mostly used in genres close to folklore, into an abstract, atonal world of sound. There are two versions to choose from, both reaching the limits of the written music without losing their emotional depth or melodic cantabile quality.
