This book provides a review of most of the concepts previously introduced, and reinforces all new principles and ideas encountered in Lesson Book 6. It also provides additional drill in certain important aspects of music theory: scale degrees, the circle of 5ths, auuthentic and plagal cadences, keys and key signatures. Theory lessons should be completed by the student at home and checked and discussed by the teacher at the next lesson.
