This new collection from John Iveson ranges in style from the moodily reflective " The Nearness of You" and "September Song" through the swing idiom of "I'm Beginning to See The Light" to the playfully jaunty "Anything Goes". As always with these collections, the accompaniments are designed to complement the character of the arrangement, without posing too much of a technical challenge to the pianist. It is hoped that soloist and accompanist alike will enjoy working on these wonderful tunes by some the greatest of popular composers.
