Le Desir is one of a set of six nocturnes written to celebrate the second marriage of Adolf, Duke of Massau - still apparently Oberthur's employed in Wiesbaden - in April 1851. This expressive and lyrical Nocturne is written for Clarinet and Piano (or Harp) and has been edited by Oliver Davies. In printed sheet music format.
