"Verlorenwasser" was the geographical centre of the former GDR. The title also has a metaphorical meaning: "Lost Water" would be the literal translation. The work is scored for 9 deaf soloists, solo voice, solo electric guitar, solo double bass, large orchestra and live electronics and was premiered by the famous singer-actress Salome Kammer.
