Cantus sang the opening track ‘Vuelie’ on Disney’s Frozen soundtrack.

Frozen is the highest grossing animated film of all time. The Norwegian all female choir are ranked as one of the leading choirs in the world by Interkulture.

Made up of 30 members from Trondheim. Members are aged between 20 and 40, and range from students to nurses, to firefighters, teachers and architects. Their outfits - called Bunads - inspired the costumes in Frozen.

The album was recorded in Trondheim, and produced by Jon Cohen, who has 21 top five classical albums (including 14 number ones) and 17 Classical Brit awards to his name.

National Day of Norway – National holiday - there are processions throughout the streets, and everyone wears their BUNADS (Traditional dress) on this day.

Talking Points: Frozen was about very strong female characters and sisterly love/bonds.

Cantus are an all-female choir, led by a female conductor.
