The text of We Are the Music-Makers is a few lines from Arthur O'Shaughnessy's Ode that speaks of the special feelings of being musicians, in many ways apart from the world, perhaps lonely and misunderstood, yet possessors of a far greater reality, the “movers and shakers of the world forever”.
