This book is the fourth in a series of books written by UK bassist Marek Bero. The Bass Gym books are written to help you develop your playing skills and understanding of theory simultaneously, whilst inspiring your creativity as well.

In this book, you will find 101 exercises specifically designed for developing your understanding of the major and minor scales on the 4-string bass. The exercises are written in all twelve keys, and will test your ability to play intervals, odd-numbered sequences, patterns on one, two, three and all four strings, diagonal fingerboard movements, and chord inversions. They will also demonstrate how scales can be used in different music styles. The exercises in this book are suitable for players of all levels and are perfect warm-ups for your practice routine, or for getting your fingers moving before gigs or recording sessions.
