Bartok's Mikrokosmos needs no introduction to the musician, this is probably one of the most famous publications for students of the piano. This subliminal work has influenced many composers and the music has been arranged now for many different combinations and instruments since the work became available in the public domain.

In this new publication Siegfried Steinkogler has arranged sixteen pieces from volumes three, four and five for the guitar. These arrangements remain very close to the original piano pieces and are also in the same key. This is music that is suitable for the more advanced guitarist.

The pieces are approximately ABRSM grade 4 to 7 in standard.
