Composed in 2002 for large ensemble with two conductors. The work explores the relationship between solo performers positioned at 'stations' on the platform, and two tutti ensembles with constantly shifting instrumentation. The score includes a composer's note and information on the score's notation (E,F,G), together with a plan of the instrumental layout. The work has been recorded on Deutsche Grammophon (DG 477 070-2).
