Raickovich, Milos - Parastos (SATB)

Eastern Orthodox Requiem for mixed chorus (SATB).

Parastos is dedicated to the memory of Borislav Pascan, a great conductor, my teacher and a friend. At the time of his death in 1981, I was living in Santa Monica, California. Parastos was written during the winter of 1984-85, while I was conducting the choir of the St. Sava Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church in San Gabriel, near Los Angeles. -Milos Raickovich
