Finzi, Gerald - Fall of the Leaf Op. 20 (Full Score)

Gerald Finzi (1901-56) left 4 instrumental works which he wished to be published besides those that had appeared during his lifetime. The composition of The Fall of the Leaf extended over a considerable number of years as so often happened with Finzi's works. Using Finzi's draft score virtually unaltered as a starting point the orchestration of the work has been completed by Howard Ferguson.
