A museum exhibition 'The World of the Mongols'; a car garage 'the World of the Motors'
A couple set out on the spur of the moment to view the anthropological exhibition Die Welt der Mongolen at the local museum. After a tussle with a taxi-driver (who is later unmasked as the grim reaper himself), there is only enough money for one entry ticket, and the husband ‘gallantly’ volunteers to wait outside. By a chance series of events, he finds himself at the neighbouring garage Die Welt der Motoren, where things turn decidedly sinister as a decidedly diabolic presence makes itself felt. This tension erupts in a terrorist attack on the exhibition, but the increasingly bizarre course of the action culminates in a happy ending: the massacred museum visitors come back to life, and the couple departs for a quiet evening at home.
