In the boudoir of Nathalie Reynaud, a celebrated tragic actress of the Comédie Française, Pierre and Philippe, her two cuckold-lovers, meet each other. Instead of demanding satisfaction from each other, they agree to teach their beloved one a lesson. When two people quarrel a third one usually rejoices. Here it is otherwise. For when, after her performance in the Comédie, Nathalie comes home with Henri, a new conquest, the two deceived ones decide on her execution together – in the best classical tradition. Nathalie, however, would not be a gifted actress if she did not turn life into a stage and make the rivals eliminate each other – and make room for the fourth one!
