Synopsis

King Henrik the Helpless of Fairyland is desperate, his three sons have disappeared without a trace. Apparently they are in the Dark Forest, where nobody wants to search because the evil, heartless giant lives there. The only one who wants to help Henrik is Lene Dahl, a girl from today.

Lene has found her grandfather's "I-see-through-space-and-time-telescope-and-talking-tube" and uses it to watch out into fairyland. She hurries there on a time spiral, goes in search of the princes and makes new friends, such as the clever she-wolf Liv. Together with Liv, Lene ventures into the castle of the giant Dappert Dapp, where the princes are said to be. And there, Lene makes a proposal to the heartless giant...
