Speechlessness, Clearness and Ease

‘The title of this composition consists of three monosyllabic Chinese characters. On the one hand, they are three basic moods, musical characters and imaginations that are linked in time, intertwined and juxtaposed - on the other hand, they can be associated in several layers due to the ambiguity of each individual word. Some short quotations from the book Laotse are integrated into the ensemble in a similar way as sounds and further alienated in terms of sound. The music oscillates between illusion and reality, between sounds and noises, between real and artificial soundscapes. This complexity in the music may be comparable to my existence - my new identity. Can foreign cultures really be understood? Can a direct mixture between two totally different bodies of sound succeed? ... All I know is that a new species will emerge.’
