Jazz Tonight series volume 4

As played by Tim Garland and the Dean St Underground Orchestra, a Tim Garland arrangement of a jazz classic for the more flexible line-up of nine-piece jazz ensemble.  Ideal for high school and college jazz bands.

Press Reviews

"Round Midnight is a tenor sax and muted trumpet feature. This would be an ideal performance piece for A/S or A Level for either instrument. It is a highly atmospheric number with very sophisticated harmonies. It might be a bit complex for school audiences, but will stretch, challenge and satisfy the players if taught with enthusiasm. The two flute parts (both surprisingly marked 'optional') contribute wonderful moments to the scoring with low trills and parallel thirds, although they would need amplification in many acoustics."
