A contemporary reflection on 16th century French wind music, this Consort starts with a lively dance movement, then continues to a heartfelt Aubade and a capricious Sautureau. Scored for pairs of flutes, oboes, clarinets, horns and bassoons.

Customer Reviews

"This is in outstanding piece for musicians and audience alike. The melodies are beautiful with striking harmonies and the writing for winds is playable. As a flutist I especially like the flute writing... but the other instrumentalist seem to like their parts too. Excellent choice to open or close a program. Crowd pleaser!"
