Composer's Notes
“’Pro et Contra’, a trio for low strings, was written recently for the double-bass player Javad Javadzade and his catblack ensemble. It is quite a short composition of about 7-8 minutes.
This piece is a very personal music, in which I have an imaginary conversation with my husband, who tries to reconcile me with reality.” (Elena Firsova)
