Composer's Notes
This piece is a piece of love, a childlike love, naïve and tender. The love of God and of mankind which human beings often express brutally and blindly. I willed this music to be sensitive, I willed it to be human in the sense of a being who is aware of his smallness and, thus, of his limitlessness.
— Claude Vivier
