Uvertira (Ouverture) is made from a single gesture: a simple melody played by the viola and taken up by the whole orchestra. Equally attractive both as an independent short form, and as part of a new, future composition.
A first commission from the native country, this short piece is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Belgrade Philharmonic.
