Inspired by Serbian folklore and influenced by Serbian vocal tradition, this piece pays homage to the ancient legend of the beauty of the voices of the Sirens. The text reveals a sense of humour not normally associated with Sirens, establishing them as six very mischievous Canadian divas who have a particular fascination with word play, which includes English words that have found their way into the Quebecois vocabulary.
