“Recently I finished a ‘Green Mass’ for 4 soloists, mixed choir and large orchestra. This is an oratorio of 70 min. duration. It is based on two kinds of texts: traditional liturgical Latin texts are mixed up with secular poems of different poets in different languages. These poems are dedicated to the beauty and purity of our nature. The music goes in two directions: liturgic and pantheistic.” (Alexander Raskatov)
