‘I am interested in ‘irritation’. This in turn implies that one builds on the traditional (instrumentation, form), but at the same time searches for the moment that leaves this path: shorter or longer, more subtle or more extensive.
I search for sounds that can no longer be assigned to an instrument, or consciously swap roles. Some of the harmony is derived from sound material inherent to the instrument (e.g. empty strings of the strings), but is used by other groups.
