In paradisum deducant te angeli,
in tuo adventu suscipiant te martyres,
et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Jerusalem.
Chorus angelorum te suscipiant,
et cum Lazaro quondam paupere
aeternam habeas requiem.
May angels lead you into paradise,
and may martyrs receive you at your arrival,
and may they lead you into the holy city Jerusalem.
May a chorus of angels receive you,
and with Lazarus who was once a pauper
may you have eternal rest.
- Text from the Requiem Mass.
