The Mouse, The Bird and The Octopus is a set of three songs for children's choir in unison and piano. The Mouse tells of a young person encounter with a dead mouse. It has some sad moments mingled with a few jocular thoughts. Little Bird talks about the solitary situation of this animal and its way of life-hope, skills, fears and some loneliness. Dancing Octopus uses spatial effects to show the deep waters where an octopus resides. The piano is quite important here to give the background feel of the octopus in watery space.
